      Met Sig Hansen while I was a Cast Member working for Walt Disney World. He was at the World Showcase Pavilian for Norway. I had a lunch break, and was going to meet with my THEN, girlfriend, but saw him, and did a double-take. I ended up spending my entire lunch hanging with the Capt. and other crew. It was the second time I got to meet Johnathan. |    I got to meet Captain Phil Harris 5/3/08 at Tiki Bob's in Seattle. He was just the nicest guy!
Nobody would have had a clue that he still wasn't feeling all that well. He laughed, talked with people, and signed autographs.
My friend, Jean had gone camping instead of coming with me to meet him (her loss, lol).
I called her on her cell and Capt. Phil talked to her until she truly believed it was him. He then autographed a pic for me to take her.

Notes: I was wandering around World Showcase at Epcot when I passed through the Norway section and saw a sign saying that Sig was going to be there to meet fans and sign autographs starting in about an hour from when I was there. So I decided to go join the line and I'm glad I did, as you can see from the smile on my face. He autographed a picture and a Northwestern hat for me (I gave the hat to my brother for his birthday) and I think I said something that might have been coherent to him...but since there's no evidence of that I'm not sure. :-) | | ◄ Go home: Deadliest Catch
