MY TOP THREE
Top 3 Deadliest Catch moments:

  • When the Cornelia was taking on 30 foot waves
  • When Aleutian Ballad took on a rogue wave the size of a 5 story building at 3 am.
  • The sinking of the Big Valley. RIP
Top 3 people I'd love to fish with (living, dead, celebrity or not):

  • Phil, Johnathan , Sig and Edgar
Or
Top 3 superstitions I believe in:

  • Red sky in Morning sailor take warning

  • Pouring wine on the deck will bring good luck on the long voyage.

  • A naked woman on board will calm the sea, this is the reason for naked figure heads

  • It is unlucly to kill a gull it is believed to contain the souls of sailors lost at sea
  • Dolphin swimming with the ship is a sign of good luck.

LET'S BE HONEST...
Q. Do you think you have what it takes to be a Deadliest Catch fisherman?

A.
. Nope, but I can sure cook it up.
And treat him like a king when he gets home. Yum!! So deliciousSunset

I cannot believe there is not a thread for this already. I am so concerned. It looks like Captain Sig had a heart attack right on camera. He described the feelings he had in his chest so intricately. Sig is one of my fav's. This is his body talking to him. He is getting a second chance. He needs to listen to it and please take care of himself. For his family, for us and himself. Isn't is strange how captains neglect themselves? Meaning their stubbornness and reluctance to seek emergency medical help while at sea. He didn't even alert his brothers He is very fortunate, that it was not the "Big One".

I just love crab. And I strongly believe that when I'm feeling blue, a great crab meal it snapp's me out of it. Does anyone out there have a really good way of serving crab. I just usually steam it with butter on the side. Sometimes with a steak. I would also like to know where is a great place to eat crab in your hometown and why is it so great?
