this is more than a reality show, the skippers and crew are more than real, they are genuine, down to earth with hearts as big as the Bering Sea. The work is hard, but the captains are fair. No fishing is no money. That'll make you work for it. I love the honesty on this show. The sea is in their blood, it's the only thing they know and are truly passionate about. When the men are out there I get the feeling they are truly free and happy and wouldn't have it any other way. I am addicted to watching this show. Do you find this valuable?

I'm a woman--an old woman--and I LOVE to watch REAL MEN doing REAL MAN stuff!!! Sometimes I get sick of seeing somany women on Tv, and in the newspaper, etc., etc. ad nauseam....WOMEN ARE FINE BUT MEN ARE FINER....please don't shoot me, but I don't see too many women on Deadliest Catch, or American Logger (my husband was a logger most of his life), or on Dirty Jobs...women aren't breaking down their doors to be included... Deadliest catch shows men being men, good, bad, ugly, gorgeous...YAY MEN... Do you find this valuable?
